MCAA Social Night Celebrates Entrepreneurship

10March2026

On 6 February, members and friends of the Morningside College Alumni Association (MCAA) gathered at the Hong Kong Jockey Club for a Social Night with a focus on entrepreneurship. The event brought together 45 participants, including alumni, guests and a Morningside student, for an evening of conversations and exchanges on new ideas, innovation and business development.

The programme featured sharing by several guest speakers with diverse entrepreneurial backgrounds, including Mr Tommy Lo (Founder of Wing Fuk Tong, Hong Kong), Mr Ralph Frehner (Founder and Managing Director of DarkWhite Design), Ms Datina Wee (Founder of Lynk Fragrance, Singapore) and Mr Ivan Chang (Founder of TwoMoon Distillery, Hong Kong). Through their personal stories, they shared perspectives on innovation, creativity and business development across different fields.

Among the participants was Morningside student Ozgur Tinas, a Year 4 student majoring in Statistics, who joined fellow Morningsiders for the evening’s discussions. The event offered participants an engaging opportunity to explore entrepreneurial journeys and ideas across industries.
