Photo Day for Class of 2026!

30March2026

On Friday 27 March, Morningside’s graduating class assembled on the college patio with fellows, friends, and their Student Union hosts to participate in Photo Day. Acting Master Professor Anthony So, Dean of Students Professor Colin Graham, and student representative Evelyn Huang Hing Yi (Government and Public Administration) delivered speeches. Professor So congratulated the graduating class on reaching this important milestone and encouraged them to approach the future with confidence and openness. Professor Graham reflected on the significance of the occasion and extended his warm wishes to the students as they prepare for the next stage of their journey. Speaking on behalf of her cohort, Evelyn reflected on the shared experiences that shaped their time at Morningside, expressing gratitude to families, friends, and the College community while encouraging her peers to carry forward resilience and a spirit of curiosity.

Professor So and Evelyn officiated the ceremonial roast suckling pig cutting, a longstanding tradition symbolising celebration and good fortune. Students spent the rest of the afternoon taking photos with classmates, friends, and faculty members, and enjoying the tea reception arranged by the Student Union. Laughter and conversation filled the college grounds as graduates marked this milestone together.

The Master of Ceremonies was Melita Siu Yuet Yan, a Year 1 student in the Integrated BBA and JD Programme and President of the Student Union.
