Recent Graduate Isaac Li shines in national English language competition

Recent Morningside graduate Isaac Li was featured in the CUHK magazine University UPDates. Isaac studied Law, but it was his passion for English language and public speaking that caught the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) and the rest of the university’s eye. The ELTU concentrates on motivating students from all academic disciplines to sharpen their English language skills in order to enable them to reach higher life and career goals. Isaac traveled to Beijing to compete in the annual ‘21st Century Coca-Cola Cup’ National English Speaking Competition and took second runner up. When asked what motivates him to perfect his language skills he mentioned his love of literature and popular television series, like the Game of Thrones.  Read more about Isaac’s accomplishments and the ELTU here.
