Outgoing Student Union Hosts Poon Choi Dinner

On Monday January 29, students gathered on the patio to enjoy a festive Poon Choi dinner. Poon Choi is a Cantonese dish consisting of a layered medley of cooked ingredients, and it was served to each group of students in a large casserole. Students picked out ingredients and ate them alongside helpings of rice.

This get-together served dual purposes of collectively celebrating Chinese New Year and marking the end of the current Student Union’s tenure. After dinner, students remained on the patio and played various games organized by the Student Union.
