2024 Freshmen Arrive at Morningside For O’Camp
2024年8月26日
There was a lot of energy in the room during this year’s College O’Camp Welcome Lunch. On Monday 26 August, Morningside’s newest students arrived to a buzzing reception from upperclassmen, the college leadership, Fellows, and the college staff. College Master Professor Nick Rawlins kicked off the lunch with a skillful impression of Dean of Students Professor Colin Graham, before welcoming students to their new home. Dean of General Education Professor Ann Huss then introduced the many friendly faces students would be seeing around, including caretakers and Resident Tutors.
After the Welcome Lunch, the freshmen began the first of four days of Morningside College Orientation Camp. This student-run initiation, presided over by second-years Tricia Leung and Allison Wan of the Faculty of Business Administration, includes activities such as a ‘Mini Olympics’, Art Jam, a campus-wide scavenger hunt, cooking contests, and an international cultural night. Thank you to all the students who contributed to the Orientation Camp, and congratulations freshmen!
