A Showcase of Talent: Students organize second Music Night

Last week, Morningside held its second student-led Music Night! After the creation of the MC Band last year, students began organizing Music Night to showcase and celebrate the musical talent of Morningsiders. During communal dinner, students across many years and disciplines performed. Student groups included: the MC Band, Life is Improvisation, and Angie and the Daddies. The audience was also treated to two solo performances by Chaichon Wongkham, first on the saxophone, accompanied by pianist Yongjoon Kwon, and second on soprano saxophone, accompanied by Eugene Mok. In addition, Morningside welcomed hiphop group 7on7 to perform some of their original pieces.
