Drum Jam Brings Music to Communal Dinner

2014年98日

Harmonies filled the dining hall last Thursday night during communal dinner, when Drum Jam came to campus to share simple songs with the College community. Lead by the energetic Kumi Masunaga from Japan and her musical partner from the Congo, students and College Fellows worked together to create melodies with colorful tubes, producing the sounds of the pentatonic scale. Students also learned an African song, and were given the chance to dance on stage with the Drum Jam team. Many thanks to Drum Jam for starting dinner on a high note, and for reminding us all what we can accomplish as a community!
