Students Meet Ban Ki-moon and Julia Gillard at Asia Society Gala

On 14 December, ten lucky Morningsiders attended the Asia Society Hong Kong Gala Dinner at the invitation of the Morningside Foundation. The guest speakers for the evening, Ban Ki-moon and Julia Gillard, discussed “Navigating 2018: The Road Ahead”. The after-dinner talk was moderated by Ronnie C. Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties Limited and the Asia Society Hong Kong. Morningside student Seyrence Lee commented that it “was an amazing experience to be able to converse with Ban Ki-moon and Julia Gillard…about current world issues which we face today, such as gender inequality."
