A Music Night to Remember

On Tuesday 15 April, the second and final Music Night of the academic year took place in the Morningside College Dining Hall during communal dinner. Despite the looming exam season, a great number of students turned up to watch their peers perform. Six bands took to the stage, performing songs in Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Russian. Some highlights include songs by Cantonese singer G.E.M, Lady Gaga, Radiohead, and Queen. Veteran band CDLEGS, many of whose members will be graduating this term, topped off the night with a performance of “Do I Wanna Know?” by Arctic Monkeys.

The Master of Ceremonies was Carlos Rangel Outeda, an exchange student who will soon be returning to University College London after his year-long stay at Morningside. Many thanks to Thanapon Maiseaumsook (Computer Science, Year 2) for organizing Music Night in coordination with the College Office.
