Morningsiders Learn to Handle Difficult Interview Questions with Ease
On Saturday 23 February Natalie Evie, who runs her own consulting company and has more than a decade of corporate training experience, returned to campus to teach 21 Morningsiders interview skills.
The workshop began with teaching students that the interview begins before students walk into the room, and highlighted the importance of preparation and research. It finished with a section on how to answer difficult questions such as “what are your biggest weaknesses?” and “tell me about yourself”. Here, students learned how to answer honestly without diverting attention from their skillset.
Students walked away from the workshop with a better understanding of not only how to act in an interview, but how to use the interview to discover whether the job is the right fit for their interests.
