Natalie Evie on Integrating Personal Storytelling in Interviews

On Saturday March 25, Natalie Evie joined Morningsiders for an interview skills workshop titled “How to Read the Mind of the Interviewer to Get the Job.” As an author, keynote speaker, corporate trainer, leadership coach, and former executive director at Goldman Sachs, Evie had a plethora of advice to share with students; they learned the power that storytelling can have during interviews and how the STAR technique can help them construct a legitimate yet purposeful story about their experiences. Evie provided tools for students to utilize when facing  the “6 types of interview questions”: vague, hypothetical, logical, technical, behavioural, and sensitive. It was great to have Natalie Evie back on campus to prepare another generation of Morningsiders for their future internship and job opportunities.
