2025 Freshmen Join the Morningside Community at O’Camp

On Monday, August 25, the Morningside College dining room was full of energy, smiles, and lively conversations. The college leadership, staff members, Fellows, and seniors gathered at a Welcome Lunch to celebrate the arrival of the newest Morningside students. Dean of Students Professor Colin Graham opened the ceremony by reminding students to explore all the opportunities Morningside has to offer. Dean of General Education Professor Ann Huss then introduced the many community members students would be seeing around on campus, including caretakers, Resident Tutors, and Junior Fellows.

After lunch, the freshmen began their Orientation Camp, presided over by Anya Lee and Keli But. The activities organised by the student leaders during this eventful week included a mural painting session, a music night, and a sports day, among others.
