Wine Tasting with Sommelier Perry Mok

23 Morningsiders gathered on the evening of Tuesday 18 February for a wine tasting workshop led by sommelier Perry Mok of Premier Fine Wine. Mok familiarized students with the wine-making process before describing the different types of wine and their varying appearances, aromas, and palates. Students then got to sample five varieties of wine, ranging from Argentinian white wine to a dry French red, alongside an assortment of cheese, nuts, and fruits. Many students were also eager to learn more from Mok about the wines produced in their home countries, such as Indonesia and India, and about Hong Kong’s wine industry.
