Emergency Information

Health

The University Medical Service Office (UMSO) provides primary health and dental care for all CUHK undergraduates. Walk-in appointments are available, but prior appointments are encouraged.

If you are ill during UMSO office hours (8:45am-1pm and 2pm-5:30pm, Mon-Thu; 8:45am-1pm and 2pm-5:45pm, Fri), and are able to walk, the UMSO is a quick walk from Morningside. Take the lift in the Pentecostal Mission Hall Complex Low Block to 4/F, exit the building, cross the footbridge, ascend the stairs and turn right, crossing through the parking lot to Clinic Road. The University Medical Service Office is down the road on your right.

The Office also includes a dispensary, laboratory, physiotherapy equipment and a dental clinic. An operating theatre is equipped for minor surgical procedures.

Students are also encouraged to meet with the Dean of Students. Appointments may be made by contacting the College Office at morningside@cuhk.edu.hk.

Confidential counseling services are also available for students throughout the year.
