Morningsiders Learn How to Network at Business Workshop

On Saturday 13 October, Morningside hosted a business workshop on networking and small talk. The four-hour workshop was led by Natalie Evie, of Natalie Evie Consulting, who has a decade of experience as a Corporate Trainer and draws from her time as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs.

The workshop focused on examining why students often feel uncomfortable in networking situations, and building their confidence. Students learned about the purpose of networking events and how to engage attendees in conversation. They also learned how to take the opportunity to share their own passion and interest through small talk.
