Peer Mentors Round Out Term with a Culminating Celebration

To help welcome year one students to the College, six Morningside College seniors participated in the ILC Peer Mentoring Program (PMP) this fall. Nalini Dhiman (IBBA), Horace Hung (Physics), Nicholas Lam (Medicine), Elfany Lui (Sociology), Daniil Ognev (AI Engineering), and Islam Zhandaliyev (Law) took on the leadership role with stride. Through a variety of trainings, mentors were able to develop communication and counselling skills to ease year one students into their university careers. ILC staff member Sharon Wong and mentees were enthusiastic about celebrating the mentors’ accomplishments and contributions to the community.
