Morningside College Member Dr. Christopher See is Recognized with Faculty of Medicine’s Education Award 2022

27June2022

Morningside College member Dr. Christopher See has been awarded the Faculty of Medicine’s Education Award 2022.

College member Dr. See is being commended for his pedagogical commitment to students. He worked with a group of students in a “virtual lab” where he and his student team contributed research in various fields, including AI conversation, developing new teaching material, and crowdsourcing information for e-learning purposes. The team’s research has received a variety of awards and has been published in journals.

His dedication to student-led research projects is especially evident through his close work with Morningsider Anson Hei Ka Tong. Working together, they analysed and published a paper on peer-led learning. To Dr. See, the experience was particularly inspirational due to the many edits made, hard work invested, and the teaching and learning opportunities that arose during the publication process.

As a part of the Morningside community, Dr. See was involved in a variety of College events. This year, he adjudicated Morningside’s annual David Parker Best General Education Essay Contest, which celebrates the best essay written in the College’s general education course, GEMC 1001: Current Dilemmas and Their Histories.

The Morningside community congratulates Dr. See on his achievement! Further information about the award and Dr. See's reflections can be found here
