Morningside Fellow Professor Yen Joe Tan Wins China’s Excellent Young Scientists Fund 2021

Morningside fellow Professor Yen Joe Tan was awarded the prestigious China’s Excellent Young Scientists Fund 2021. Professor Tan is a scholar in the Earth System Science Programme here at CUHK. He and his team conduct research on analysing geophysical data to better understand the processes behind earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The Excellent Young Scientists Fund is dedicated to supporting young scientists who have generated exceptional research, and aims to further their academic work. Congratulations, Professor Tan!
