Morningside Welcomes Home Alumni

On Saturday 23 November, Morningside College welcomed back more than forty alumni and guests in an evening filled with good memories and nostalgia. College Master Professor Nick Rawlins kicked off the evening with a short speech, followed by MC Alumni Association (MCAA) President Gavin Yip who introduced MCAA’s planned activities for 2025. After the buffet dinner a lucky draw was held, and one of Morningside’s youngest alumni, Varsha Suresh (2023), won the grand prize. Other alumni included Carrie Nip (2013) from Morningside’s first graduating class, and alumnus Strauss Chu (2014) who played the piano as everyone arrived. The Master of Ceremonies was Islam Zhandaliyev, a Year 4 Law student.
