2022 Morningside Photography Competition

03March2022

On 3 March, 2022, Morningside announced the winners of our annual Photography Competition. The competition is an annual tradition where undergraduates from across the Chinese University of Hong Kong campus community are invited to send in their photographs, creating a space for students to feature their works. Three winners are selected for three thematic categories, along with one Grand Prize Winner.

This year, our One Book Programme selection, Are You Enjoying? by Mira Sethi inspired our three categories: past, present, and future.

We invited Ms. Sethi to choose the First and Second Prize winners for each category, as well as the Grand Prize Winner. This year, the Grand Prize Winner is also featured in the Not Just A Selfie: Inquiries of the Present a Monrningside Exhibition, a collection of artwork by Morningside students curated by Junior Fellow Juliet Li Levesque, and is currently on exhibit in the Morningside Café. Special congratulations to the winners of the Students’ Choice Prizes as they received the most votes from the Morningside student body.

This year’s prizes included NETGEAR MC315GDW Meural WiFi Photo Frames, KODAK MiniShot Instant Cameras, copies of Hong Kong Yesterday by Fan Ho and a GoPro HERO10 Black Action Camcorder.
